I sincerely appreciate your attendance at our Station 83 groundbreaking celebration on Tuesday, June 8, 2010. 

Having a representative of L4416 present was very fitting given the partnership between the City of Westfield and L4416.  In January 2007 the City of Westfield Fire Department took advantage of your offer to conduct a Geographic Information Study commissioned by the IAFF.  This Study has proven to be very beneficial in our strategic planning and our quest and commitment to meet NFPA 1710 - and Station 83 is a product of such.

The relationship between the City of Westfield and L4416 is a proven testament of how a productive and collaborative Labor –Management partnership can provide for safer firefighters and safer communities.
